The 1960s: A Modern Awakening In 1957, KCS Panicker became the principal of the Government College of Arts & Crafts, Madras, and within it, there was a change in guard. Panicker was able to execute his vision for Modern Art in India. This talk will focus on the impact of Modern Art practices in the city.
